In order to:

	secure a lien
	change a lien
	remove a lien on an Alaska title
	transfer an out-of-state title to an Alaska title
	transfer ownership
	VIN corrections - State authorized VIN inspections available at the address below
	name changes and removals

you will need the following:

1. The ownership document:

   	Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO) or
   	Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) or
   	Title - signed off and/or re-assigned correctly

2. Completed Alaska Application for Title and Registration
3. Lien release, if applicable
4. Fees due

   	$15.00 DMV title fee
   	$15.00 DMV lien recording fee
   	$30.00 processing fee

Once the transaction is complete, all documents will be mailed back to the lender/financial institution.

Please, do not mail certified letters. If you need your transaction returned overnight, include a pre-paid envelope with your transactions.
